To sustain and support Family Resource Centres across the province through an effective communication network;
To confer and cooperate as a Provincial body to sustain quality work standards for employees of Family Resource Centres;
To foster partnerships with organizations identified by the Association;
To assist in the development and coordination of policies that could be used as a guide by Family Resource Centres;
To raise public awareness of issues facing families with children, 0-6 years of age within our province;
To serve as an advocacy mechanism at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government on behalf of Family Resource Centres;
To establish communication and networking between the Atlantic Family Resource Centers;
To generate additional revenues to develop and implement new programs and services;
To generate alternative sources of income or revenues to sustain the NBAFRC.
